The Challenge
The organization, a global electronics products and computing service provider faced challenges in managing their inventory due to manual processes, lack of visibility into warehouse data, and unsynchronized legacy systems. They aimed to automate the processes, integrate multiple systems, and modernize existing infrastructure to reduce errors, manage orders seamlessly, and enable access to real-time data.
SVARAPPS Transformation Approach
We integrated Oracle e-Business Suite R12 with their existing warehouse management system (WMS) to automate warehouse operations including receiving, picking, and packing. Further, we enhanced the purchase order and sales order modules and integrated the legacy systems with Oracle ERP using rest services. The outbound integration of master data on customers, suppliers, and inventory to legacy systems using rest services ensured seamless flow of real-time information.
The Result
Accurate Inventory Tracking: Real-time visibility into inventory levels and automation of inventory processes enabled the organization to accurately track inventory levels across all warehouses.
Enhanced Order Fulfilment Efficiency: Integrating WMS with Oracle EBS enabled them to fulfill orders efficiently.
Reduced Stockouts: Accurate tracking of inventory levels enabled them to replenish stocks timely.
