How nine enterprise integrations were built to keep Oracle ERP Cloud and Icertis CLM permanently in sync - reliably, automatically, and with full auditability.
The organization ran Oracle ERP Cloud and Icertis Contract Lifecycle Management as separate systems with no automated connection between them. Supplier records, customer data, contracts, and legal entities had to be maintained in both systems manually. We architected nine bi-directional integrations using Azure middleware that keep both platforms synchronized in real time, with guaranteed message delivery, automatic retry, and end-to-end audit logging.
Business Challenge:
Two critical enterprise systems operated in isolation. Any update in Oracle — a new supplier, a contract amendment, a project record — required manual replication in Icertis, and vice versa. With 500+ records moving through both systems daily, the risk of inconsistency was constant, and there was no audit trail to diagnose discrepancies when they occurred.

Solution:
We designed an Azure-based middleware architecture using Logic Apps as the integration orchestrator and Service Bus topics as the reliable messaging backbone. Each of the nine integrations publishes and subscribes through dedicated topics, ensuring no message is lost. Dead-letter queues capture failed messages for investigation, a 3-tier auto-retry mechanism handles transient failures, and Azure Blob Storage logs every transaction. Azure Key Vault manages all credentials centrally.
