How business users gained instant access to sales and order data by simply asking questions in plain English - no SQL, no reports, no waiting.
Sales and operations teams needed daily visibility into order status, sales figures, and business performance - but all of that data lived inside an enterprise database system. Getting any answer required either writing SQL queries or waiting for a developer to run a report. We built a natural language interface that lets any business user ask questions in plain English and get accurate, real-time answers pulled directly from the data.
Business Challenge:
Business users had no direct access to their own operational data. Every question — how many orders came in today, what are this month’s sales by region, which products are moving - had to go through a developer or a pre-built report. Pre-built reports only answered fixed questions, and ad-hoc queries required SQL knowledge that most users simply did not have.

Solution:
We built a natural language to SQL engine where the user types a plain English question, the system converts it to a precise SQL query using Claude AI via a secure MCP bridge, runs it against the StarRocks analytical engine sitting over the enterprise data synced through Azure Data Factory, and returns the answer instantly — displayed in Power BI or a React dashboard depending on the context.
