Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant to work closely with project stakeholders to gather, analyze, specify, and implement business requirements. The consultant will be responsible for configuring Oracle Fusion Financials or working with the development team for custom developments (if needed) throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Financials, strong communication skills, and a solid analytical background to support the implementation, development, and support of Oracle applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
o Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and validate business needs.
o Document functional requirements and translate them into system specifications.
o Ensure clear communication of requirements to the development team for customizations.
o Review and confirm understanding of requirements with the project team.
Implementation & Configuration:
o Implement Oracle Fusion Financials modules (AP, AR, GL, CM, FA).
o Configure Oracle Fusion Financials applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and implementation standards.
o Develop and maintain configuration documentation (Configuration Worksheets, Setup documents).
o Support system design, testing, and production environments through all phases of the project.
Support & Training:
o Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
o Deliver training to end-users, super-users, and project teams.
o Guide the project team and end-users on resolving any system-related issues.
o Ensure timely support for monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closures.
Quality Assurance & Documentation:
o Participate in Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and conduct testing sessions for Key/End-users.
o Create detailed documentation, including requirement gathering, solution design, UAT test scripts, user manuals, issue logs, and status updates.
o Adhere to project standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality deliverables.
Collaboration & Leadership:
o Assist and mentor team members in designing and implementing solutions.
o Raise and manage Service Requests (SR) with Oracle to resolve technical issues.
o Participate in troubleshooting and resolving post-go-live issues.
o Collaborate with the technical team on custom reports, interfaces, and other requirements.
Technical Skills & Experience:
Oracle Fusion Financials:
o Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CM), and Fixed Assets (FA).
o Minimum of 6-8 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Financials.
o Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Financial Reporting / OTBI or BI reports.
Additional Modules (Desirable):
o Experience with Oracle Fusion Procurement (Self Service Procurement, Procurement, Supplier Portal, Supplier Qualification).
o Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management is highly desirable.
Implementation & Support:
o Proven experience in at least 3 full-cycle implementations of Oracle Fusion Applications, specifically within the financial modules.
o Expertise in troubleshooting, user support, and system enhancements.
o Experience with major ERP vendors and the implementation life cycle.
Tools & Technical Knowledge:
o Familiarity with Service Desk tools (e.g., Manage Engine) for ticket management, issue resolution, and change requests.
o Ability to raise SR with Oracle and manage issue resolution independently.
